Championships

What is a
Championship?
This is a determination by 3 approved judges to state the dog
in question is a superior example of its breed.
To receive one of our Championships you must submit your one time
$25 fee, a Championship Application, and 4 photographs of your dog:
1)standing showing a full side view of dog with a 12" ruler or
measuring standard next to dog
perpendicular to foreleg running from ground to withers. and the head
facing straight forward. You can also have this done at a veterinary
clinic (signed application from veterinarian with a way to reach
them to ensure they are a valid clinic and did in fact measure said
dog), you need another photo of the dogs other full side as well.
Not all dogs will receive a championshp for this fee! The will enter
your dogs photo's into the show, then your dog will be judged against
the written standard by the 3 judges, you will receive a witten
declaration from the judges. With the results contained therein.
(example of photo of dog next to standard 12" ruler)
2) a full rear view showing both rear legs and tail
3) a full front view showing both forelegs chest and head
4) a full face on head view
We then will forward along to 3 different judges the photo's of your
dog, the judges will award them points based on your dog against the
written standard.
The judge will not know the owner, or breeder of said dog just a
call name is all that will be given.
The owner of the dog will not know what judge has viewed their dog
just a judges number will be given, this we feel allows anonymity
for all and precludes any unconscious political views. And creates a
fair venue. There is no guarantee of championship. A dog MUST receive
a minimum score from 3 different judges before it can attain a
championship.
